ACT and Boğaziçi University TTO jointly organized a half-day workshop about the “H2020 SME Instrument” under the Horizon 2020 Programme. The goal of the workshop was to train and to encourage innovative SMEs in Turkey to make successful applications to this grant programme.
The workshop hosted 35 participants from Technology start-ups, SMEs and TTOs. Representatives from Accelerators were present as well.
The workshop was led by Dr. Peter Sheard who Peter has been involved professionally in R&D&I project management since 1988 and as well as National programmes has coordinated and led over 45 International projects within FP5, FP6 and FP7. Peter has been an expert evaluator for European Commission since 2000. This represents over 25 years experience within this field.
H2020 SME Instrument is a business excellence grant programme, focusing on taking innovative ideas from lab to market. The programme provides support in three phases. Phase 1 is a feasibility assessment, Phase 2 is a demonstration project and Phase 3 is a support for access to risk finance. More information is available at:
