ACT invests in Skysens, a low power IoT network and technology provider

ACT has invested €680.000 in a seed round to Skysens, a startup specialized in Low Power IoT applications. The company was founded by Burak Polat and Emrah Mercan back in March 2016 and successfully delivered IoT projects to local and global customers.

The team has developed several hardware and software technologies which are used to set up an own LoRaWAN network. The embedded operating system of Skysens allows best in class power consumption. The startup deploys fully end-to-end Low Power IoT applications in Smart Energy, Smart Cities, Smart Agriculture, and Industry 4.0.

Skysens is currently the only Turkish member of LoRa Alliance and collaborates with global telecom and technology companies. Skysens will leverage its unique position with this investment and aims at growing its customer base globally.
